His expressions, gestures and so on were so perfectly matched to his script/words.

I have not seen that range in any of TDS's "special correspondents," even the great John Oliver, when he sat in as host, though he was incredibly funny. Not in the former host, either, though I enjoyed him as well.

Stewart, though not a tall man, is a comedic giant.
