Great Idea...... Child password

On 22nd July 2014,
Dr. B. Gayethri Devi, Principal of the Little Flower Public School, Bangalore circulated a letter among the parents and guardians. The letter contained the simple yet extremely powerful ‘Child Password’ idea that will help safeguard children from
potential abductors pretending to be a friend of the family, offering to help.

The letter created a huge interest among parents and guardians who then took the initiative and bestowed their children with a unique password.
We thought it was such a powerful idea, we decided to team up with the school and help spread the message to a much wider audience.

...and includes a number and a special character.

If you forget your password, then tell the child "I forgot my password" and the child will text a temporary one to the cell number associated with your account. If you do not use that password in five minutes, your child will remain stationary until you contact customer support to verify your identity.

Improvements anticipated in Child v2.3 will include two factor authentication.

But they had lived in interesting times.

With my daughter the message would be tell her "Ggggirl scout cookies" and she would know the message was genuine. She would also start laughing her ass off.

some 15 years ago was "Glasses."

One day her Uncle (my wife's Brother) that she saw just about every day of her life ... since birth ... went to pick her up from kindergarten. We gave him the password; but, he did not use it because it was silly ... he was known by her teacher and the schools principal.

Both Mrs. 1SBM and I got panicked calls from the school, as BabyGirl 1SBM refused to leave with him.

Uncle 1SBM was pissed ... BabyGirl 1SBM got ice cream! AND a stuffed monkey (the monkey is another story for another day).

And even if a family member or friend was there to pick the kids up, that person had to know the codeword. It's funny this person hasn't heard of it. It was all over iVillage a decade ago.
