People willing to split the party if they don't get their way.
Then they accuse people who don't support HRC of not really being Democrats.
Not funny
Not in the least

(3,580 posts)I voted for hillary in my primary and obama in the ge twice. I had no hesitation voting for Obama. He won the nomination fair and square. I will vote for Hillary 2 more times I hope but if she isn't the nominee I will vote for the dem.
I thought the Pumas were ridiculous.

(2,860 posts)Its way worse than in 2013 when my minivan got snowed under. At least the top of the roof was still showing when I started to dig out. I used to use the T every day. The Blue Line at Airport station was about a 1/2 mile from my place. I lost 10 pounds while living there. I walked everywhere. I only started my car to move it from one side of the street to the other on street sweeping days. I miss the sandwiches at The Beantown Pub, the steak & sausage at Santarpios, and the Shepherd's Pie at the Green Dragon. The tour at the Sam Adam's Brewery was great fun too! They took us to Doyle's on a tram after. That place had Irish Nachos! Sorry if I made you hungry. I'm waiting for my lunch to arrive.

I think their "trump" rationale was "experience" some going so far as to say they were going to have to go McShame though most came running back after about a week of Phailin on the set.
A few claimed to be further emboldened because of the presence of a woman on the ticket and could be found online in bitter little covens that seemed to increasingly swing hard right till they bled out quickly after Clinton joined the administration and in the wake of that move, leaving little female dominant right wing hate sites that were split on Hillary but definitely anti liberal that have probably went TEA years ago or just plain died due to disinterest.
They probably are worshiping Breadbags Ernst, Nikki Hayley, and Marsha Blackburn nowadays. Probably not so much Hayley once they get past the name and hair.

(45,251 posts)A group of (supposedly) Hillary supporters supposedly vowed to vote Republican (esp. Palin) or just not to unify to support Obama.
I suspect some of the more activist ones were Republicans anyway, just trying to get votes away from the Dem nominee, but I know at least one woman who did switch from Dem to Republican. On the other hand, she had been a Republican until Reagan ran. She hated Reagan.

Regarding the OP, I do not think it's fair to characterize all supporters of Hillary as a bitter-ender. That isn't proven at all.

(3,580 posts)I know what I am. I'd say almost every hillary supporter in 08 voted for Obama. I didn't see much difference between them policy wise but when obama got the nomination I ran into a few angry hillary supporters who accused me of not being a real dem.
ironically since I support hillary again I again being called not a real dem. so I found I am not a real dem whether I support hillary or not depending on who I talk to.

(16,286 posts)Which makes you wonder why middle class, white, protestant males are likely not to vote for Hillary but most minorities will. (I could be wrong about most minorities will, but I am wiling to bet I am not)
Could it be that most minorities still dont have, or are not protected, the same civil rights white folk do? Gay folks too, of course.

But she never came right out and advocated voting against Obama. Hence, her survival.

(9,748 posts)I've seen administrations walk back comments by Secretary's of State before. But I don't recall it ever happening multiple times before Obama and Hillary. The White House disavowed itself from her remarks on more than one occasion. A point about which I usually remind people when they tout her performance at State.
It amazes me how readily these things go down the memory hole.

I see a lot of Freud's narcissism of small differences here. Many posters try to distinguish themselves from other posters over differences that are merely cosmetic.

(94,591 posts)PUMA was a buzzword that got thrown around on the internet 8 years, and turned out to be virtually non-existent. No more than a handful of Clinton Democrats ended up not voting for Barack Obama. And despite all the chest-thumping and bravado, no more than a handful of the people here who proudly claim they'll "never vote for Hillary" will have the courage to live up to their promise in 2016.

(37,748 posts)Thank goodness it's only the strongest supporters of the aforementioned candidate who are guilty of accusing others of not being Democrats, and no other strong supporters of other candidates have ever, are, or will ever do that.
Otherwise, I've be compelled to believe that holding one group to a higher standard than other groups is at best, half-witted buffoonery.
Motown_Johnny
(22,308 posts)then please take this seriously and present some examples of other Democrats who have done anything like what the PUMAs did.
Unless you want to go back to the primary challenge of Pres. Carter (which helped get us Reagan)or the anti Vietnam war movement that hurt LBJ so badly he couldn't run in '68 (and helped us get Nixon) you will be hard pressed to do so.
My point is that we should not be splitting the party just because we can't all get behind HRC until the nomination process is over (unlike the PUMAs who damaged the party after the nomination process was over).
