Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) on Wednesday reportedly told an audience of conservatives that President Barack Obama doesn't "love America."
Politico reported that Giuliani made the comment at a private dinner in Manhattan attended by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) and a slew of business executives.
"I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America, Giuliani said, as quoted by Politico. He doesnt love you. And he doesnt love me. He wasnt brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.
In an interview with Politico after the dinner, Giuliani continued to criticize the President. He contrasted his own response to anti-Semitic riots that took place in the '90s in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn with Obama's much-maligned remarks on the Crusades earlier this month at the National Prayer Breakfast.

It's pretty fucking ridiculous that they think they can convince anyone other than their own ilk that they're making any sense at all.

(27,805 posts)On Sept. 11, 2001, I remember seeing a video of Giuliani being rushed out of one of the Twin Towers very early that morning...like 6:45 or 7 AM.
I mean, his aides were really "rushing" him out.
later on, I saw the video again..but I've never seen it since; nor, (as far as I know) has it even been mentioned since.
(New York City had a City Hall annex in one of thee Twin Towers)
I've often wondered: "Why the rush in getting him out of there?"
