According to Politico, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told a private Manhattan dinner audience on Wednesday evening that President Barack Obama does not love the United States.
I know this is a horrible thing to say, Giuliani began, giving you an idea of whats coming next: But I do not believe that the president loves America, He doesnt love you. And he doesnt love me. He wasnt brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.
The former mayor also suggested he felt as though every modern president has had a grasp on American battles abroad, while Obama does not. I felt that from every American president, including ones I disagreed with, including [Jimmy] Carter, he said. In an interview with Politico after the dinner, he continued to bash the president, this time invoking the infamous Prayer Breakfast speech in which Obama warned against a high horse on religious violence, noting that Christian extremists committed the deadly Crusades many centuries ago.
Youve got to be able to criticize Islam for the parts of Islam that are wrong. You criticize Christianity for the part of Christianity that is wrong, Giuliani responded. Im not sure how wrong the Crusades are. The Crusades were kind of an equal battle between two groups of barbarians. The Muslims and the crusading barbarians. What the hell? Whats wrong with this man that he cant stand up and say theres a part of Islam thats sick? http://www.mediaite.com/online/rudy-giuliani-obama-doesnt-love-america/

(21,155 posts)President Obama has more integrity in his little finger than Ghouliani has in his whole body. People who think they are better because they used a terrible act of terror to further their political career have no credibility. And don't get me started on his cheating with his wife with his mistress.

Another grifter whose only relevance is the airtime he gets to spew hatred...it is getting all too obvious how desperate the End Timers have become.....Obama outsmarts them every time.
What was NYC thinking?

I am not sure how well Giuliani knows his history. The Crusades were blessed by the Catholic Church. The First Crusade was launched at the urging of Pope Urban II in 1095 specifically to go to war against Muslims. And during the Third Crusade in 1204 the Catholic Crusaders sacked the city of Constantinople, part of the Byzantine (Eastern Orthodox Christian) Empire. Not exactly "Barbarians against Muslims." And while all sides were probably barbarians, the Western Catholic Christians were more barbaric than the Eastern Orthodox Christians or the Muslims in 1200 C.E.
