of the rules here, I sure hope so.

If you want to rag on her after she is the nominee, there are other places to do that, Discussionist for one

Personally, I dont have to rag on her at that point, I am well aware of her negatives, more so than most people I know, but at that point they wont have anything to do with voting in that one election

Trying to intimidate folks before we even have primaries is nasty and unnecessary.

Are we then expected to support any and every policy position taken by the Party's candidate?

For presidential contests, election season begins when both major-party nominees become clear. For non-presidential contests, election season begins on Labor Day. Everyone here on DU needs to work together to elect more Democrats and fewer Republicans to all levels of American government. If you are bashing, trashing, undermining, or depressing turnout for our candidates during election season, we'll assume you are rooting for the other side.

Interpret it for yourself.

Whether or not DU does, is only relevant to here, which was the point I was making, I agree.

I guess the point is, during election season AFTER the candidate is chosen, there is NO point in debating what that candidate believes about anything UNTIL that person is elected.

But once the election is over, bash away, I know I will.

I know that I wont be happy with much of what the candidate will do no matter who it is unless it is Bernie.

One reason a party acts like this, and it is especially relevant now, is as a member of said party you are DIAMETRICALLY opposed to almost everything the other party is for, and in the case of the new Repub party, it is never been more obvious, the differences.

Like for me the only thing worse than a mainstream Democratic politician elected to the WH would be any republican and it would be 987 million times worse.

"... AFTER the candidate is chosen, there is NO point in debating what that candidate believes about anything UNTIL that person is elected."

We also disagree on the relative "worseness" of particular candidates. For example, I see very little difference between Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush, although I would agree that Scott Walker would be 987 million times worse than Elizabeth Warren.

A misogynist teaparty asshole

You must understand that if John Ellis Bush (we must call him by his actual name from now on) thought that he needed to appoint a Roe opponent to the SC to get Reelected, he would do so in a heartbeat

Therefore there is a MOUNTAIN of difference

Keeping women poor while denying them equal rights is not much different than keeping women poor while advocating for their rights.

next month, when I'm working a community service project with some youth mentees.

The closest I've come to that questions was asking a couple hungry (because they were at the kitchen) homeless folks whether they cared that the wealthy got tax cuts made permanent in exchange for the government not shutting down. Guess what they didn't "give a sh!t about" (their words)?

It's way too soon to be waving around rules and talking about violation of the TOS.

Can we actually have a candidate that says "Okay, I am starting my run", maybe another candidate that says "Okay, I'm going to run for the nomination, too", have an actually primary before we start all of that?

Because so far, we've got nothing.
