Oscars: For all the anti-superhero snobbery in Hollywood these days....

I see a number of presenters who either have been or will be appearing in hero movies.

1. Chris Evans (Captain America)
2. Dwayne Johnson (Black Adam in Shazam)
3.Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange)
4. Jerod Leto (Joker in Suicide Squad)
5. Terrance Howard (James Rhodes in Iron Man)
6. Liam Neeson (Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins)

In fact, he's gotten quite a bit of attention... for his role as an actor who once played a superhero...or does this post have to do with that and I'm missing that? I haven't really seen any "anti-superhero snobbery in Hollywood," seeing as MOST of the people in the audience have played or been in superhero movies. Is Jack Nicholson (the REAL Joker) there?

Forgetting (often) about its theater release. But you are correct. He actually gave an interview once, and it was heartbreaking to hear him talk about how much of a bummer it was to see Keaton get the role because he was sure they would ask him.

To this day, I can't be sure whether he was serious or deadpanning it--props to him for that!

12. Only one of those actors is best-known for his superhero roles

Aside from Chris Evans, every name on your list evokes other roles

If you asked 10,000 people to name a Dwayne Johnson role, I doubt that more than two would say "Black Adam from the rumored upcoming Shazam movie at some point in the future."

What's the point of this list? Those actors have played in comedies, too. Why not highlight that aspect of their careers instead?

All of them have a Kevin Bacon number of 2. All of them.

That's some illuminati shit right there.
