The effect of calling Obama a communist, anti-colonialist who doesn't love America has worn off. Doubling down on his statement bought a couple more days of attention. Maybe now saying that it may not be Obama's motive or intent but the result of his words that is the problem might get him another 24 hours. Inside, Giuliani is saying "wait, please, don't stop paying attention to me. I'm still relevant. Look at me, look at me. Look at me!!!"
