could the fued between Obama and Netanyahu be fake?

Hear me out.

The supposed fued helps each leader with his domestic constituency. But that is not the point.

What if the powers that be in Israel privately agree that the end point is a good deal for Israel. And what are the implications of publicly showing approval vs kicking and screaming about the deal .

To me it is obvious that the latter will move the limit to which Iran thinks it can push - in the West's favor.

However game theorists in Iran side may see this and discount any kicking and screaming. Which is why the fight needs to get publicly ugly between USA and Israel to lend credibility that the disagreement is real.

So that brings me to the original question .. Is the whole fight being staged?

maybe even some elements in Iran are in on it. Not kidding.

If this turns out to be in any way true, that would be a very good thing.

I think Netanyahu looks down his nose at President Obama just as much as Putin does. They don't consider him to be uh - 'on their level'.

It's 'who' and 'what' Netanyahu is. Good, bad, or indifferent.

particularly over nuclear issues. I wouldn't take any public posturing literally.

Israel at the end of the day opposes negotiated settlements with the Iranians just like they oppose them with the Palestinians.

They want a war with Iran.

Especially with how easy it is to turn around and say he's anti-Israel because of it. Americans support Israel more than most any other nation - even during his flap.
