would be for ALL households to get food stamps. Maybe then people would get how important they are, and the good that they do. Plus, those sufficiently above the poverty level as to not be eligible for them under the current system would benefit greatly. And those who don't need them, maybe they could donate their food stamps to the local homeless shelter.
