"Glory hole" was a pretty common term for a space in the cloud that the sun comes through, at least in Cordova

22. CONTEXT matters. Gold mining. Juneau. They give much needed help to many, are a good organization.

Context matters. Rather than calling those naming it naive, instead how about doing some research and figuring out what it means.

Juneau, AK, where there was gold mining and glory holes (a hole dug into a really good bunch of gold). There is a gold mining glory hole there.

They aren't naive but named it many yrs ago after what was in the area.
