One opportunity is unseating Rahm Emanuel in Chicago and the second opportunity is replacing the government in Ferguson.
Just think - if Chuy could win in Chicago what that would mean for us common folk here in the city. We would have a person of the people representing us - not a Mayor 1% like Rahm. It is doable folks. It just needs a massive GOTV campaign to mobilize the people in the neighborhoods to get people registered and to the election booth on election day to vote.
Chuy is getting some good endorsements - but the key is to get the people out to vote. They have to feel that if they do - they can make a difference and get rid of Mayor 1%. Just think of the wind that would put in the sails of people all around the country if they saw that the people of Chicago can oust Rahm. It would empower voters all over the country.
Couple a Chicago win with a win in the next election in Ferguson and I think that would illustrate the power of voting.
If the people of Ferguson really want to change things in their city - they need to have a massive GOTV campaign and register all voters in the city - and get them to the election booth.
Collectively - two wins like these would show all potential voters around the country that their one vote does count and if they GOTV they can change things.
Is there anyway of mobilizing a group of volunteers to help in both of these cities? Doing this is a precursor for making our future in this country better. These are both golden opportunities.

And, yes, Ferguson is in need of a lot of changes.
I hope the folks in both those towns get out and vote for change.
