What caused him to say this? Maybe he should rethink being Pope if he wants to be left alone?

Not saying he shouldn't be Pope. Just don't understand where this came from

The way I see it he'd probably love to eat a pizza peacefully with a lot of people. Maybe even millions of people.

I hadn't heard him say this and there was no context in the post. Just confused about why he said it or what he meant by it.

Does he like being pope?

"I do not mind!" he replied. But Francis said he'd like the job better if he had a little more freedom and anonymity, particularly for one purpose.

"The only thing I would like is to go out one day, without being recognized, and go to a pizzeria for a pizza," he told the interviewer.

That's more than understandable. I'm sure everyone famous person feels that way. Well, probably not the kardashians.

he wouldn't be a Pope for very long. That wasn't an exact quote but the "pizza in peace" was a quote.
