The New York Times: Jeb Bush, a Clinton critic, took time releasing his own emails
By Michael Barbaro
It took Mr. Bush seven years after leaving office to comply fully with a Florida public records statute requiring him to turn over emails he sent and received as governor, according to records released Friday.

Once again, Repub shows hypocracy is their standard position.

(25,253 posts)Do you think they sat on it long enough and tipped off Jeb to release his e-mails before they made the Hillary story public?
I thought it was a little fishy when I first heard that Jeb released his e-mails. It kind of came out of the blue. No one was asking him to do that and if he never released them I don't think it would have been a problem for him (unless the Hillary story broke before he released his).
So my theory is that the NYT tipped him off and perhaps colluded in this whole thing. He released his e-mails so when the Hillary story hit - he could say act holier than thou and say "Well I released all my e-mails". I'm better than her.
Do you think I'm on to something here?
