An amendment offered by Sen. Pete Kelly, R-Fairbanks, redefines marijuana to exclude everything besides the seeds, leaves, buds and flowers of the plant, effectively banning concentrates. It passed the Senate Finance Committee on a 4-3 vote.

Are made from leaves, buds and flowers (not seeds). I always thought if they made an essential oil from cannibus it could provide some very interesting health benefits.... But not by chemical extraction; by low heat steam distillation.
