My Old Man fought in the Pacific under FDR/Truman, I did my time in JFK/LBJ's little adventure and all 5 of my kids have served, the youngest one enlisted under Obama and just finished a tour of Afghanistan a little over a year ago.

Seems there may have been some Democrats involved including the current and former Secretaries of State who both voted for the Iraq war resolution.
