Perhaps convincing the surrounding countries and people to stop trying to push Israel into the sea and recognize Israel's right to exist?

6. Does Palestine also have a right to exist?

It seem that the new government in Israel may not think so. True friends do not aid their friends in harming others, they help them see that issues are not one sided. If we are ever to have peace in the middle east we need to help all people learn to live with each other. Denying any ones right to exist in peace is not expectable, whether it is Israel or Palestine they both need to recognize the others right to exist and I am afraid that until that happens we will continue to see hate and death destroying the future for the children who live in will inherit the middle east.

How much destroying of property has someone done to Israel?
How many Israeli lives have been taken by another entity?
How much land has Israel lost?

How much property damage has Israel done to others?
How many lives has Israel taken?
How much land has Israel stolen in the lightest of the use of the word stolen?

To be honest with you I have a pretty good idea how to answer each of these and where to go to find the information if not.
Whatever happened to live and let live anyway?

Is the bible where Israel gets its right to be who they are and live where they live cause if that is the case then, shaking head here at that thought, my my how fucked can things be

Way too many have suffered at the hands of believers of one God or another. I can not believe that any of the great teachers intended for there to be so much suffering in their name.

Until people start truly practicing compassion and forgiveness we will be doomed to live with this hatred, what a tragedy.

9. I remember when I was a wide eyed 23 year old kid

fresh home from the 'Nam war and I was so full of life, of promises and it hasn't been anything like I thought it would be. We were all so young so foolish to think that people in power would ever allow us to live in a just world meant for every single one of us, not just the chosen. My how life didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I honestly believe with nixon's resignation that we had crested the hill, made it to the top if you will, little did I realize that it was merely a bump in the road and that right around the next curve the hill would really got seriously steep and treacherous not level off. Too soon old, too late smart. something like that anyway

Oh well I don't have many years left but I have a lot of fight in me yet. let the battle kill me, I have too die from something.

2. Government handouts? Maybe - but

the real money is private dollars being sent to Israel. Everyday I pass a billboard saying "America's future lies in Israel" and it has a www. address to "Support Israel". In my younger days I worked for a Jewish man who willed his entire estate - which was considerable to Israel.

Unfortunately this is a bipartisan problem, and the knee jerk pro-israel politician will be presented as a lesser evil. No one will be allowed to run against them in the primary.

money to U.S. politicians and have a lot of influence with them - more than the average American voter. And the majority of them won't take kindly to the appearance that the United States withdraws its support from Israel because they'll see it as the U.S. abandoning their home country (and family), giving the appearance that they're vulnerable in the M.E.

And as we know, without money there's no winning any political campaign no matter how liberal a candidate is (take Dianne Feinstein and Mike Strimling, for example - she had the money from prominent Jewish billionaires, Strimling didn't even come close although he would have been better for the U.S. Senate based on his track record of fighting for the "little guy&quot so there's no way, that I can see, that we can make our government stop giving Israel those billions of dollars. Not if they want to get re-elected.

Even liberal Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders refuse to speak out against Israel's invasion of the Gaza strip and have consistently defended the shelling of Gaza schools and hospitals saying that Israel has a right to defend itself.
