In 2010 and 2014 we ran on "not as bad". We lost. Because "not as bad" doesn't get people to the polls.
In 2008 and 2012 we ran on an actual platform. We won.

Give left-leaning voters something to vote for, and they turn out. Give them something to vote against, and they will not.

If our platform in 2016 is "not as bad", we will lose. If we have an actual platform, we will do well.

I am concerned that the presumptive nominee and her surrogates have been putting forth a "not as bad" argument so far.

5. I am guessing that we should elect a Democrat. A Democrat who wants to expand Social Security,

and Medicare, not work with the GOP to Chained CPI it, or work with Wall Street to privatize it. Any Dem candidate who is on that page, and is also against the TPP, is sure to get my vote!
