Obama correctly blames Bush for Daesch (AKA ISIS)

And about damned time, too. In an interview with Vice News, the Prexy drops a truth bomb (no drones used) on Repubs and the American “news” media:

President Barack Obama traced the origins of Islamic State militants back to the presidency of George W. Bush and the invasion of Iraq back in 2003, arguing that its growth was an “unintended consequence” of the war.
In an interview with Vice News, President Obama said the rise of Islamic State (IS, also known as ISIS/ISIL) can be directly linked to America’s excursion into Iraq under Bush.

“Two things: One is, ISIL is a direct outgrowth of Al-Qaeda in Iraq that grew out of our invasion,” Obama said in an interview with VICE News. “Which is an example of unintended consequences. Which is why we should generally aim before we shoot.”

He’s right, you know. There were no “Islamic” terrorist groups in Iraq before the Bushistas lied us into war there in the early Oughts. None. Zip. Nada. They moved in during the chaos that followed Shrubya’s Eodipal Invasion.

And that means, Gentle Reader, that America is at least partly responsible for Daesch. Most of us aren’t happy about that. Most of us are smart enough to not want another war.

But some people are either stupid or corrupt (or both) enough to be banging the drums for yet another war of choice. People like Tehran Tom the Traitor Tot, who is lining his pockets with arms industry money whilst fomenting conflicts in the Middle East.

It isn’t comfortable to hear the President remind us of our nation’s historical errors. But as long as the Teapublicans push us towards war to make good on the bribes they take from the MIC, such reminders will remain necessary.

A very profitable war, for the Cottons and Cheneys among us. riqster Mar 2015 #4

in the ME of some kind, soon.

Bibi is a real super bad actor.

Can you imagine if a chickenshit chickenhawk gets the WH in 2016 with Bibi in power?

war is a certainty, maybe nuclear, maybe not

What will the media, not the New Media, make you believe next and now?

That Venezuela and Brazil need military rule with a puppet Oligarchy again, because the socialist experience has clearly failed?

That war to remove The Devil Incarnate Putin, who represents All Russians, is on the table?

That Netanyahu represents all Israelis and so America must agree with Bibi's every demand or speculative conclusion......or you know what?

That Saudi is not a suppressive dictatorship, definitely not best war buddies with Israel, though?

That racist speech is free speech so should be accepted?

That climate change is still debatable,

or that communicating with an enemy against the foreign policy of a President is not at least sedition...l

Just let them try just one of those! No way Americans fall for it again.
