Jimmy Carter did not run off to France for 30 months..He served in the military

Mittens is not fit to lick Carter's Boots.

Carter did hard physical labor and still does.. He does not hole up in an office & monitor foreign slush funds squirreled away from US taxes.

Carter willingly professed his faith and never "hid" it as if he were ashamed of what people might think about what his faith professed.

Carter's administration was similar to Obama's in one way. He was constantly undermined & plotted against by the willfully deviant & ever-scheming republicans who would later "replace" him with their puppet.

They were on a habitat for humanity build in Thailand a couple of years ago and there he was, helping out. My sister said it was so damn hot that younger people were stopping and seeking out a/c but President Carter was still out there workng. Hammering, sawing and things like that. Has Romney ever done any manual labor in his life? It's doubtful. He may know what a hammer and nails are, but; heaven forbid that he ever gets close to anything like that.

Well, at least Jonathan Reckford, CEO, Habitat for Humanity, is an alumnus of Bain & Company, just like Romney at BANE (sic) Capital.

From the H4H web site: "Reckford began his career on Wall Street, but soon decided it was not a good fit."

And from the dictionary.com definition 'bane: a person or thing that ruins or spoils'. That's the man.

very under rated as a President. He was a true visionary, and touted a great many environmental issues. Reagan took over and kebashed that nonsense though. A word to the wise. Keep up with the current polls, even though they may seem inconsequential right now, many of us back then did not see that election travesty coming after we slowly witnessed state after state going for Reagan.

unfortunately sandwiched between Nixon/Ford and Reagan. Reagan was far and away the worst president of the 2oth Century, with W the worst one ever.

It was during Reagan's term that people started buying into the right-wing rhetoric, and started voting againswt their own self-interest in a big way. Reagonomics was a disasters for this country, and now Republicans want to replace that horro with even worse stuff. Just look at what the Republicans are trying to do with taxation and budget in Kansas. And if they succeed, that state may never recover.

Jimmy Carter, Nobel Peace Prize recipient and service academy graduate, spent 7 years in the Navy. This is more time in uniform than any 20th century president except for Dwight Eisenhower.
