Dem: I don't need lessons from Steve King on what it is to be Jewish or a Democrat

Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) blasted Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) on Sunday saying he didn't need lessons from the hardline conservative lawmaker.

"I really do not need a lessons from people like Steve King on what it is to be Jewish or a Democrat," Israel said on CNN's "State of the Union."

(snip)
Israel noted that he "hasn't seen" King at hearings on funding for the Iron Dome defense system for America's closest Middle East ally and that the Republican hadn't accompanied the Democrat on his trips to the nation.

"So I'm not going to take lectures from Republicans like Steve King about how to support Israel," the Democrat said on CNN, noting that he was "still waiting" for an apology.

I escorted Bibi Netanyahu into the chamber and out of the chamber."

Is that the measure of being Jewish and a Democrat, then? I'm pretty certain it's not, but i've been misled before...

many of us here don't need lessons from others on how to be pro-Israel Jewish Progressives from those who, in our opinion, don't get it. The only reason I don't engage is that I don't bother discussing these issues any longer…I let the Israeli Army and Air Force do my talking for me. Yes, I would have preferred Bibi out: his wars are unsuccessful since each one which has ensued is worse than the one before it, but such is life.

Is that presented as an answer to the question I asked? In your opinion, at least.

no number of posts by those who would see Israel destroyed will assist in its destruction, despite the wishes of the scribes. "Too bad."

I'm asking if being a right-wing hawk who holds Netanyahu's hand is essential to being Jewish and a Democrat. It seems rep. Israel feels so, I'd like your input on that question... instead of whatever question you'd rather be answering, even if it's not being asked.
