Q: Is Sen. Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada, eligible to be the U.S. president?
A: Most likely. The legal consensus is that Cruz qualifies because he was born to a U.S. citizen living abroad, making him a U.S. citizen at birth.

That's enough to qualify, regardless of where he was born or whether his father was a US citizen. There was a thread yesterday with links to opinions by legal experts within the Obama administration that clearly outlined that Cruz is eligible.

get tired of bullshitting with him. Cruz hasn't seen anything yet. The primaries will be merciless for his ass. They are going to eat him alive. they are allowing him to be in the race so they have someone to abuse and if he seems extreme then maybe Bush or Walker will seem moderate in comparison. Republicans always hedge their bets.
