Teapubbie Ted Cruz: Government of, by, and for the wealthy white males

Source info at the link? You bet your sweet bippy.

And f*** the rest of us. Most Americans think the Constitution is the current one, as adopted by the representatives of We the People. Here’s a link to it. But ask a Teapublican like Ted Cruz, and you’ll get a completely different definition of “Constitution”: the old, flawed one from the 1850’s. The earlier version of the Constitution that allowed the Civil War to happen.

That’s because the “Republicans” are still fighting the Civil War, and they haven’t given up yet. Here’s your “Republican” idea of the Constitution: an Antebellum version, stripped of all those bits about equality of the sexes, creeds and colors; all but wealthy white landowners stripped of voting rights: indeed, a “Constitution” that would once again make many of us into slaves and chattels. It would allow the South to re-play the Civil War, and perhaps win this time. White Power on a grand scale.

And it is 100% Teabagger in nature. Racist, sexist, homophobic, plutocratic, and generally anti-American in every respect. In their own words:

The 1851 Center for Constitutional Law will focus on invigorating protections of the Ohio Constitution due to well-founded fears of a stark shift in how federal courts protect constitutional rights because our new President has expressed a preference for judges who are sympathetic to those who are vulnerable, those who are powerless, those who can’t have access to political power, and he prefers judges who have the empathy to understand what it’s like to be a young teenage mom, to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old. Mr. Obama will have the authority to handpick federal judges who share his constitutional jurisprudence, and will do this early and often.

The 1851 Center will also commit itself using the Ohio Constitution to provide a safe harbor from leftward-moving federal courts. With the Buckeye Institute, and the contributions of Ohio citizens, the 1851 Center will spur the pendulum to swing away from government intrusiveness, and back towards the ethically superior state of freedom.

Got that Gentle Reader? A Constitution that allows the states almost unlimited rights to do with its “citizens” as they will. A Constitution that allows some of us to be 3/5 human. A Constitution that is, in sum, unconstitutional. That is what Ted Cruz, Antonin Scalia, John Boehner and the rest of the “Republican” party have in mind.

Government of the wealthy white males, by the wealthy white males, for the wealthy white males.

Vote, God-F***ing-Damnit. Vote while you still can. And vote AGAINST the Teapublicans who want to wipe out your rights

Which actually boils down to a dangerously similar thing considering who makes up the lion's share of the wealthy and all of their common ambitions.

Adding Herman Cain, Andrew Sullivan, and Carly Fiorina to the ruling class means little to me, I'm fighting the whole dynamic not trying drape a rainbow flag with a pink triangle in the corner on Reagan's rotting corpse and calling it a day.
