It wasn't as safe when she pushed Obama to evolve already!--into publicly backing a position he already held but had disavowed when running for office. Safe nowadays is not the same as safe then.

I guess this is part of the primary war. I haven't been paying much attention. As a gay person, I'm used to being a political football. Let's just stipulate that neither Hillary Clinton nor Elizabeth Warren are homophobes. I trust them both to look out for gay rights. Ok?

in both the other thread that was hidden and this one, and even those of us who just think that it is not helpful to call people idiots to make your point that you believe Warren has a strong supportive position for LGBT individuals.

How about just self-deleting and just letting it drop - or starting a 3rd thread that supports Warren without trashing members of DU by calling them idiots and comparing them to Republicans.

That you created one OP that got hid and this OP which is slightly less of a callout.
So, I guess one of us is more bothered by the question...

"Has Senator Warren made any statement about the recent hateful things going down in Indiana?"

As to why that question upsets you so, I cannot say.

The whole 'don't question the Senator' routine is elitist garbage, and attempting to purchase for your candidate good standing with LGBT people by being dismissive and rude to LGBT people is pretty daft.
