WaPo: Voting for POTUS via Smartphone

According to Washington Post's Amrita Jayakumar's publication of an I.T. OpEd, one may soon (but not yet) be able to vote by one's own cell phone. Though the need to save time and lines is most assuredly true; we have to worry about the rigs of the system (remember the Robin Williams movie that made the comedian POTUS).

As per WaPo's caption (Marvin Joseph/The Washington Post) of the pic above

The Election Assistance Commission approved a measure to update the guidelines against which manufacturers test electronic voting machines to make sure they are secure and accessible.

As noted by Jayakumar's item "Can you vote for the next president on your smartphone? Not just yet.";

In an age where people can transfer money using their mobile device, it’s not hard to envision a future where citizens wake up on Election Day, pull out their phones and choose the next leader of the free world on the way to work.

Last week, a federal election agency took a small step toward that futuristic vision.

The Election Assistance Commission, a body created in the aftermath of the 2000 presidential election, approved a measure to update the guidelines against which manufacturers test electronic voting machines to make sure they are secure and accessible.

According to the WaPo story, (pic above by WaPo's - Courtesty of Michelle Rajotte) Joseph Kiniry, principal investigator at Galois, has hacked into Internet-based voting systems to show government officials their flaws.

I don't know about you, as for me - this stuff wreaks of surreptitiousness beyond compare!

Just sayin.....

where those activist's went around requesting to see vote tapes
(that had more voters than the entire town)

and they caught the riggers tossing voting tapes in the garbage.

This type of election - Romney's family already owns voting machines

He might have won 2012
