This times eleventy billion.

Slager did the planting of the evidence so non-chalantly that I have to believe he’s done it before. I’m sorry, but if I was trying to cover up a major screw up at work, I would be acting very nervous, certainly not the way Slager was acting.

2. That struck me the same, and is what will probably nail him in court.

As to the "Why" he did those actions I doubt he will ever explain his actions or thoughts (if he did actually have thoughts), in court on a witness stand.

4. As I've said here already, he was too good at covering his ass.

It was six seconds after he shot and killed Scott that he radioed in the Taser claim. Then he cuffs him and jogged back to pick up the Taser and casually dropped it by Scott's body. He was totally calm and in control looking the entire time.

To me that's one of the most terrifying parts of the video. You murder a man and it takes you six seconds to concoct a story and a minute and a half to calmly finish your coverup.

Just like Zimmerman knew their script.
Just shocked he left out the reaching toward his WB bullshit. But I guess he swapped in the taser bullshit for that. Horrible

and way too many other cops.

I wonder if we paid them 100K/yr and required a degree in any of the Humanities if things would change.

Clearly it would. Maybe some required cross-regional service tours and a few civilian observers with serious power might help as well.

But better education and pay does help too.

The first question I would ask is what do you think of people of color. That would weed out the KKK because they can't keep their yaps shut when expressing their hatred. Then I would do follow up evaluations every year.

That are still bigoted and vindictive assholes.

The requirement might cut down on these incidents slightly. Ever so slightly.

I will admit that some of the most bigoted and ignorant people I have met have held degrees......in engineering.

And the accomplices (yes, accomplices) acted the same way. Nothing to see here, folks.
