Gender doesn't matter, according to Robert Reich. The hell it doesn't.

In more than 200 years, there hasn’t been a single woman elected either as President or Vice-President.

Let’s have at least one woman President before we start saying that gender doesn’t matter. Sound good?

Even so, Hillary Clinton isn’t running for President based on being a woman. If she announces, she'll be running based on her experience as Senator and Secretary of State.

But there’s Robert Reich on my Facebook "newsfeed" (he must have paid for this because how else did he get there) pontificating on the need for her to make a case for her Presidency just as “any man running for president must do.”

If she runs she will make her case. She doesn't need Reich’s smug, superior little post to tell her that.

Some people will never get it. Apparently Reich is one of them.

P.S. Would Robert Reich have had the gall to say race doesn't matter before a single person of color had ever been elected President?

and the sooner the better.

Whatever Hillary said on that video, it was NOT as a candidate for 2016 because she still hasn't announced yet. And she did run on a platform in 2008 -- with a large plank that ended up becoming Obamacare.
