Female CEO says “hormones” & “biblical sound reasoning” should disqualify women from being president

By KRISTEN DESILVA
REVIEWJOURNAL.COM

The female CEO of a Texas marketing company is under fire this week after saying that “hormones” and “biblical sound reasoning” should disqualify a woman from being president.

After Hillary Clinton’s Sunday announcement to run for president, Cheryl Rios of Go Ape Marketing posted her opinion on Facebook.

“If this happens – I am moving to Canada. There is NO need for her as she is not the right person to run our country – but more importantly a female shouldn’t be president. Let the haters begin … but with the hormones we have there is no way we should be able to start a war,” Rios wrote, per CBS Dallas.

“Yes I run my own business and I love it and I am great at it BUT that is not the same as being the President, that should be left to a man, a good, strong, honorable man.”

like testosterone. Makes us strong and warlike. We do not need empathy, and other female traits. They divert us from war making.

But seriously, Phyllis Schlafly makes the same point about a woman's place being in the home while she has spent her whole life working. Who are they trying to convince?

a couple of weeks ago I had a working class African-American female say the exact same thing to me. She did say she'd hold her nose and vote for Hillary. I was appalled at her opinion of her own gender...

Testosterone is also a hormone. It's just the male one that has gotten us into so many wars.

Just where does she place the ceiling for us females? Can we be governor or Senator or Rep - it's only the Presidency we can't handle? Or does she have a lower bar for that?

Incidentally, why do these RW nuts always threaten to move to Canada, a considerably more liberal country than most parts of the US (and certainly than Texas)? Canada, by the way, had a woman PM in the 90s.

she was wrong even on that point. Deborah was a Judge appointed over Israel as seen in Chapters 4 and 5 of the book of Judges. After she lead battles against the enemies of Israel the tribe experienced 40 years of peace.

I guess maybe God screwed up since obviously women shouldn't be leaders because of their hormones...
