I'm sorry, on these secret free trade deals...

Much as I support and respect the President, "Trust Me" is just not good enough. American workers are hanging by a thread, they've been decimated by free trade deals they were promised would be good for them before, and the little that has leaked looked horrendous. Make the case, give people the details, or this just feels like déjà vu all over again. Support for the President doesn't mean we lose our right to ask questions, or that we agree him on every issue. I think he's wrong on this, and very wrong on how he's handling it.

Any international agreement with potentially great impact needs to be fully vetted and understand by the citizens in a functional representative democracy.

TPP does not meet that critically important metric.

This corporate hack of a President hasn't done anything for labor since signing the Lily Ledbetter Act into law back in 2009. By late 2009 it was obvious that he was not interested in "everyday Americans" and now we are expected to support HRC? No thanks!

He emphatically stated it was a "public misconception" that TPP was being crafted secretly. Tweety didn't challenge him on it so it must be true?

to have been involved in the negotiations.

It's just our citizens and legislators who have been left out.

So it's not total secrecy. Those who stand to benefit most have been involved in drafting the agreement. Even though they are the ones who have already benefited most from the profound increases in corporate power over our government.

HELL NO !!

Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is saying “hell no” to a bipartisan deal reached last week that would grant President Barack Obama authority to quickly push hefty trade deals through Congress.
