A righteous rant on FB which reflects where I am right now.

These are my concerns now and I will tolerate less and less of the stupidity that contributes to these issues. This was written by a man named David Gerrold.

No, I am not a Social Justice Warrior. I am a Fucking Justice Monster.

When children are going hungry, I'm outraged. When black people are being shot in the back by cops, I'm furious. When poor people are being shamed, I'm appalled. When immigrants are being made to feel like the enemy because they want a better life, I'm embarrassed. When women are denied equal pay and responsible health care, I'm beyond words at that kind of stupidity. When gay men and lesbians and transgender people are being beaten to death at the rate of one every eleven days, I'm horrified.

And if I'm stressed out every day reading about all this, I can't begin to comprehend the exhaustion and rage and frustration of those who are living in the bullseye.

I have no patience for those who think that people who are striving to create justice are the enemy. I have no patience for those who rationalize and excuse and defend the status quo of injustice.

To be blunt, I have no patience for stupidity, ignorance, and trollery.

Our leaders are doing everything they can to make sure justice is done.

Thank gawd for Obama and H> and all them, eh?

If we just had voting machines that counted votes as cast, and big money out of politics, and a clean environment.....

Unfortunately we've a long way to go to get there from here.

You mean the people who have allowed the bad voting machines, big money in politics and the environment to get ruined? Those people?

I am. Always have. But there are leaders which refuse to lead as required.

You want change? It starts with the vote, which now, more evident than ever, is being stolen.

The "haves" are leaching the rest of us slowly. Slowly enough so we'll squirm a bit, complain a bit but slowly get weaker until we can't think for ourselves or rebel effectively.

This is not terminal, just another blip in history. Eventually all empires and oligarchies crumble or are destroyed. However, it ain't going to be pleasant before that revolution, or during, or while society once again tries to rebuild.

Thus it was, is, and always will be.

The ability of human civilization to bounce back and progress to a better future is limited by depletion of natural resources and destruction to the environment that sustains us.

... my sentiments precisely. Succinctly stated. I have ZERO patience for willful ignorance or self-centered malice. But reason is beyond the comprehension of Ted Nugent, or his acolytes, so where do you go from there? Far too many progressives seem to lack the scrotal capacity, literally or figuratively, to deal with right-wing troglodytes in the only manner they understand. Far too many, but not all...

It's control.

Don't forget women now being imprisoned, in this country, for controlling their own bodies. Or worse, for not being able to prove that nature controlled their bodies.

fact that I believe it is too soon to settle on a candidate. First, we don't have a true field to select from, and, second, I choose to give a fair hearing to all who enter the Democratic party field. I don't engage this far out from the caucuses.

Do we want less democracy, less honesty, endless war? A ravaged environment? A police state? Jim Crow laws? Charter schools? Corporate prisons? Wall St. candidates? More of the same & worse?
One could do no more to make conservative dreams come true than by being a shareholder of their causes and a laborer towards those ends.
