I think Meerkat and Periscope are going to screw the police beyond their wildest imaginations. You

could live stream all interactions you witness or have with a police officer in order to feel safe. The example that happened yesterday
where a Marshall took the phone and broke it would be too late as everything she was recording would already be in the cloud
and viewed immediately. These new apps will be interesting in the upcoming elections and are already calling into question media
rights and major sporting events etc.

There is also the question of filming people without their permission live. Privacy continues to become less and less of an option.
