Engineered Consent

One of the larger problems we have in this old world is the propensity for the power holders to use their powers to engineer consent of the public in order that they may hold onto and increase their power.

The main obstacle to those powerful persons is an informed and educated public, whom, via government regulations and enforcement, constrains the powerful from riding rough-shod over the masses of people.

One aspect of trade agreements is a consolidation of power over the diverse governments which can, via their people's needs and desires, regulate what business may or may not do.

The engineered consent mechanisms are well financed. The people fighting the engineered consent are mainly grassroots folks who have become alarmed at what they see happening to their world's environment.

It has ever been thus, and all of us need to step up and make our voices heard as a way to defeat the engineered consent being crammed down on us.

Hence the dumbing down of America. Long gone is the practice to actually educate and to allow for free thought

One may get in trouble for calling it a conspiracy, but what is fox news if not a conspiracy of some powerful to engineer consent?
