There were some who walked out in protest, but not all.

They NEED those buses and trains in order to get home." He continued: "If they would've let them children go home, yesterday wouldn't have even turned out like that."

(36,286 posts)to justify police action is to dump a bunch of angry teenagers into one spot away from transport to their own neighbor hood. When I turned on the news last night, the talk was all about the injured policemen and not a word about police brutality.

(36,286 posts)trouble. I recall leaving campus to get picked up a quarter mile away when the Viet Nam protests were on. I opposed the war, but didn't see how getting clubbed by excited officers was going to help anyone.
