1. Thank you. The reason it didn't get any coverage is the exact reason the violence happened...Power

thinks of silence as submission. And, in fact, it has been. The trouble is that when minorities are "accepted" into the group, it is because they have had to leave their "other" person at home and become as those in the group.

I lived and worked in an area in Los Angeles County for decades which became heavily Mexican American. It was a nice residential neighborhood, not the ghettos. But even back in the 70s, the LA County Sheriff who patrolled our area, were just like these police today. They would treat the Mexican Americans like dirt. And the ones who were the worst, were the Deputies who were Mexican American. It was like they had to work harder to prove they were bastards to keep their jobs. It was awful.

God help us to learn how to become human to everyone.
