He may be a blip in the polls so far, but Bernie collecting $1.5 million in 24 hours

suggests that could change. That's more than any of the 3 republicans who have announced got in the first 24 hours of their campaigns. It indicates that there is some real support for Bernie and real excitement about his candidacy.

The budget for winning the primary is likely to be north of $200 million.

If Bernie wins the primary it's pretty certain that many donors will move money from the other candidates to him.

But it's important that money not be a reason that Sanders would abandon his campaign.

I admire Bernie and believe non-Wall St, non-Big Donor funding is essential taking democracy back from the oligarchs, but, I'm not going to be able to keep up.

I need partners in this.

It's part of his platform. Obama broke the pledge with McCain and so here is another go round post Citizen's United. If the good will continues, he can win.
