‘The devil was in the house and came out from my mouth,’

A Georgia principal has apologized for making racially charged remarks at her school’s graduation ceremony.

Nancy Gordeuk, founder and principal of TNT Academy in Stone Mountain, Ga., shocked those in attendance at Friday’s commencement when she chastised some for leaving early by saying, “Look who’s leaving, all the black people.”

The comments, captured on cellphone video, sparked immediate outrage at the ceremony, as dozens of students and parents erupted, leaving in protest. The footage quickly circulated on social media, with some calling for Gordeuk’s resignation.

“A terrible mistake on my part of the graduation ceremony on Friday night,” Gordeuk wrote in an email to parents published by WXIA-TV. “The devil was in the house and came out from my mouth. I deeply apologize for my racist comment and hope that forgiveness [is] in your hearts. We all make mistakes, and anyone who knows me realizes that I try my hardest to work with the students for them to obtain their goal of a high school diploma.”

Reminds me of Flip Wilson's Geraldine, "The devil made me do it." Difference is Flip was funny, this woman is certifiable.

as principal, she needs to take some responsibility for what was said, make an example of herself, and lead. A proper no-waffling apology will do just that.

that her son posted a practically illiterate diatribe on FB defending her...and using the N-word.

I'd love to see that one. The fact that her own son cannot write a sentence correctly. And the racism apple apparently did not fall far from the tree.

If Gordeuk’s son is an example of the education kids get at her private TNT Academy, racism is only one of the problems they have. She says her school is accredited in Georgia as a "nontraditional education center"; it has licensing problems and is up for review.

Ms Gordeuk’s son Travis, took to Facebook defending his mother with a slew of his own racial slurs.

“Yall niggas aren’t talkin about shit so if u got something to say come see me face to face,” he wrote.

“I hope everyone had a great mothers day and to everyone tgere are ppl hating getting on my page and posting shit so Imm sorry in advance if it happrbx.”

Her school charged each of the 48 graduating students up to $300 for the ceremony. So Gordeuk pockets over $14K and throws in the racist remarks at no extra charge?
