This morning, KSAZ (Phoenix) was doing a story about getting a woman put on the $20 bill. The overwhelming choice seems to be replaces Andrew Jackson with Harriet Tubman.
Kristin Anderson did the story about the support for Tubman being on the twenty, when morning Anchor Rick D'Amico showed that he wasn't paying attention in 4th grade, by saying, "Harriet Tubman?! Who the hell is she?"
Needless to say, people on social media were not happy with D'Amico's ignorant comments.

Mrs Davis is buried yards away from my Mom, Dad, Brother, Grandmother and Grandfather, and feet (like 20) from my Great Grandmother and Great-Grandfather. I know who she is, and am PROFOUNDLY honored that my ancestors, parents and siblings are buried in the same hallowed ground as she is.

Aunt Jemima was Nancy Green and Hariet Tubman was born Araminta Ross. Nancy Green was the spokesperson for the Davis Milling Company as Aunt Jemima. Who is the Mrs. Davis buried close to your relatives
Edit to add:Nelson Davis second husband.

(12,157 posts)The 1st was Mr. Tubman and the 2nd was a Mr. Davis. If I had read the who WIKI article I would've seen that but I did not.
By doing a search of Hariet Tubman Davis I got the following memoriam that was published on her death

And DU showcases the worse of humanity through these media outlets, not the best, most days.

200 years from now, the question will be:"Rick D'Amico?! Who the hell is he?"
The answer will be:
"A drooling racist on a fake news channel who spewed garbage for a living. He passed on from terminal flatulence in his sixties."
To which the crowd will all say:
"Amen! May he compost in peace!"

(1,893 posts)When she revealed that she had no idea what the Cuban Missile Crisis was:
... During a White House briefing, a reporter referred to the Cuban Missile Crisis -- and she didn't know what it was.
"I was panicked a bit because I really don't know about . . . the Cuban Missile Crisis," said Perino, who at 35 was born about a decade after the 1962 U.S.-Soviet nuclear showdown. "It had to do with Cuba and missiles, I'm pretty sure."
So she consulted her best source. "I came home and I asked my husband," she recalled. "I said, 'Wasn't that like the Bay of Pigs thing?' And he said, 'Oh, Dana.' "
