on John Lauber, a junior when Romney was a senior.
I turned away from Al Sharpton on MSNBC and saw on CBS some of the very same visuals. CBS Political Correspondent Jan Crawford made the bullying assault story from today's Washington Post into a fairly long segment that ran near the top of the show.
Are the other national broadcast news reports doing the same thing?
Are you surprised at the coverage Romney's dark side is getting? I am.
WHAT'S YOUR OPINION?

(102,278 posts)Seems to me they usually bend over backwards making excuses for why these kind of stories are not "really" a story at all.

Not surprised at the coverage, though more needs to be revealed.

(21,925 posts)I hope we eventually see actual people who knew Mitt expressing actual feelings on our TV screens about how disgusting this behavior was. It needs a more immediate personal touch to nail the asshole.

(5,818 posts)IMO that would make a great visual in a third-party ad with a chair circle of witnesses to Mitt Romney's dark side.
Failing an actual picture of the haircut, a picture of Lauber before the haircut would suffice IMO. Viewers could use their imaginations

(3,491 posts)bad, including one of the bullies themselves. I don't think this is going to go well for Romney, and it's not going away anytime soon. And of course it shouldn't just go away either.

With this kind of coverage it sure paints a presidential candidate in a bad light.
