Theres always some good benefits to a good nap. In short it improves ones performance, memory as well and also the mood. Researchers now have found it can wake up less racist and sexist.
Details of the finding are published in the Science magazine and scientists claim in similar way it may be possible to train people in replacing their negative social stereotypes with positive ones. However, they need to be offered with a way to attack prejudices which are at subconscious level and of course hard to reach.
The researchers said our brain gets on with critical activities while we sleep. The activities are like erasing the waste that is produced by neurons, transferring memories to long-term deposits and also at the same time generalizing skills that we learn.
Researchers has come up with a technique that can help in learning process while one sleeps.
