Why are they doing this???? What is the need for this function?????

Live anthrax samples were shipped to several laboratories, which was a process mistake, it should have been killed before it was sent out.

My question is why are we even playing around with this stuff?

Facilities like the Pentagon have detection systems that need to be recalibrated periodically.
