Wilmore To Huckabee After Transgender Joke: 'Go F*ck Yourself'

After applauding Caitlyn Jenner and her debut in the pages of Vanity Fair, Wilmore turned to the words of Huckabee about his stance toward transgender people.

"I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE,” Huckabee said in a video that surfaced this week. “I’m pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, ‘Coach, I think I’d rather shower with the girls today.'"

(Huckabee's remark was delivered in February and was not referencing Jenner but the acceptance of transgender people in general.)

Wilmore forced a laugh at the gag.

"What was his book again?" the host asked. "Oh yeah, 'God, Guns, Grits and Gravy' and Go Fuck Yourself."

I know people miss Colbert, but I don't.

It just took a little while to pull it all together. I'm glad they got rid of that "keeping it 100" segment. (I don't always stay awake through the 3-person panel though.)

I could actually watch Larry alone for the entire 30 minutes, like John Oliver's format. He is so witty and personable.

3. I wonder if Huckabee himself was bullied in the boys showers.

All it takes is being a little overweight being a Christian prude does not help. Some how I can see Huckabee being a victim of the rather mindless male PE Highschool shower ritual. I think he does give himself away in the complaint. I doubt that High School jock Bruce Jenner had a lot of trouble in the shower compared to a fat boy politician that still carries memories about his coach. Bruce Jenner was in far more showers than Huckabee. Considering Bruce Jenner demolishes Huckabee's crude stupid insensitive gag.
