I hate Grover so much, if he takes over the show, it would piss me off.
Has anyone seen it? Is it awful? Should I save myself?

(30,439 posts)I thought Bill Maher and Cay Johnston did an excellent job of dismantling his talking points with pure facts.

(1,484 posts)I tried that link right after the original post was made and I guess it was still too early because it was not listed yet as one of the episodes available for viewing. So I then posted here asking for a link. However, now when I have gone back to the link once again, I find that it has now been posted.

(1,484 posts)You were right on! Judging from what I saw of him on Maher's show (and it was my first time ever seeing him live) I would say that it boggles my mind how an ass hat like that could wield so much political power with the right wing. Although upon greater reflection, I can see how he somehow fits right in with the rest of the puke clown car.
As I remember, Grove is the intellectually challenged individual who stated that we should all vote for Mitt Bain irregardless of how unqualified he is, because all we really need as president is someone who will do the bidding of the republicans in the house & senate and sign their bills. But then of course I guess he figures that all of the right wing party in both houses of Congress are under his thumb anyway, because of the no taxes pledge he coerced them all into signing. So then I guess that would make The Grove our real president, if Mitt Bain were to be elected.
After all, why not a grove when we've already had a shrub?

(1,086 posts)I dislike him too but agree that David Cay Johnston did such a great job of using facts, calmness and humor to totally show him up for who he is.
After a certain part in the show, the camera wasn't even on him for reaction shots. It was like he wasn't even there. He just sat there being pissy.
How anyone takes that man seriously is beyond me.

(51,076 posts)is the judge and jury at his trial for treason. I know, I know that treason would be hard to prove in his case but nevertheless what he advocates for to me is treason. When he forces his fellow pukes to take an oath to him to not raise taxes on the well to do is at the very least un-American, This cretin should not be given a platform of any kind to further his personal cause.
