am personal acquaintances with two self-identified Repukes who I know for a fact were victims of school bullying, because I personally witnessed it. I do not talk much with either anymore, after GW's crimes, so I cannot say for sure how they are responding to the story. But I am hoping this episode lifts the scales from their eyes about Romney and their party affiliation. Even though each is markedly homophobic and, in one case, distinctly racist and misogynist, perhaps the sense of shared 'victimhood' with Lauber will transcend that.

A 2010 CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll found that 77 percent of Americans believed that bullying is a “serious problem that adults should try and stop whenever possible.”

The math is simple - at least a portion of that 77% have to be Repukes (maybe as few as 5%, but still).
