Hypothetical stuff

At the funeral today, President Obama said that Beau left nothing in the tank, he gave all he had.

He praised Joe Biden saying he was a good man, and very strong, and Beau's inspiration.

That "nothing in the tank" remark, I think was meant for Joe, suggesting that he can't leave with a full tank, a hint that Joe should run. Beau may have pleaded with him to run, remorseful that his illness was the reason if he doesn't.

What about a 3-way race? Bernie has a good chance of beating Mrs. Clinton. How about Joe? Would that be the end of his career, leaving a tank half-full? Or Bernie? Too old to pair them. O'Malley, Chaffee, Webb for VP, no. A man or woman from the south or west, maybe?

I've twice donated to Bernie, but would be in a pickle if Joe runs. I love him a lot and he's made mistakes, but none were for profit or personal gain. I think he doesn't even own stocks or bonds. Neither Joe nor Bernie are greedy or driven by increasing their wealth.
