Because those are the most likely candidates. (I expect the R's to support their crazies initially but get the grues before the convention. They'll go with the one.who can pass for not barking mad on occasion.)

There's been far too much insinuation about the results without any empirical evidence. The Sanders supporters have run several such polls, with the subject and object reversed. It's unclear why this question has gone unasked.
