Sarah Palin goes on Fox to denounce interview of Duggar girls — conducted on Fox

Appearing on Fox New with Sean Hannity, former half-term Alaskan governor Sarah Palin criticized “the media” for its coverage of the Duggar family scandal, singling out the interview with two Duggar daughters — while failing to mention that it was conducted by Megyn Kelly on Fox.

Although the Duggars agreed to give exclusive interviews with Kelly — spread out over two nights on her Kelly Files — Palin attacked her favorite target, “the mainstream media,” saying the girls were being “revictimized” but without mentioning they appeared on Fox.
What followed was Palin going off on one of her stream-of-consciousness rants regarding reality shows, the media, liberal bias, and Lena Dunham.

After Hannity shared a clip from Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jill and Jess Duggar, pointing out that they are part of a reality show family much like hers, Palin was off again.

“They do have a right to privacy. Yeah, well the difference with our family too, like the Duggars, is that people actually make their living by digging and poking and priding, I mean prodding, trying to find something on conservative families to try to destroy them and their reputations, but that’s another story. Uh, yeah, these girls are being re-victimized, for shame on the media for, under the guise of ‘Hey, gotta let them have their say anyway. Let’s interview them and put them there, back into the fire, and let them explain.’ They’re innocent! And these girls, yeah, so humiliated. The release of these confidential records is, it’s tragic, it’s illegal, it’s unethical. Why isn’t the dialogue going right now towards ‘Hey, let’s get that law enforcement official, he or her, who released this file. It was confidential.’ Who. who has been a victim, would ever want to speak out and still be able to trust law enforcement. That what they’re being told, with counselors and amongst themselves, that their files are going to be held confidential and then they’re exploited. Why isn’t the press going after that police chief, she or he or whomever it was, and you know it was for political reasons, Sean.”

the whole point of this public interview was TO TRY AND SAVE THEIR REALITY TELEVISION SHOW FROM CANCELLATION. Is Sarah Palin stupid or just jealous their show might survive while all her family shows bombed.

Digging, poking, priding... you signed an F'ing contract and made your life a television show just like they did. They want to be a reality star but you can't see their reality... conservative thought in action. If you want to be a private citizen then Sarah go away. Trust us we don't care.
