Six debates have been scheduled for the Democratic primary candidates.

Is this too few, too many, or about right?

Seeing how Dems had 26 debates in 2008, six seems too few. Clearly designed to protect Hillary. Cheese Sandwich Jun 2015 #3

Doesn't matter. Candidates are free to campaign in a variety of methods. n/t FSogol Jun 2015 #5

Will likely not watch any of them. I work second shift, and rarely watch primetime TV. I will likely check out some clips of them on you tube.
Six is fine, imo. I think there are too many to begin with. They become redundant after awhile, imo.

On one hand, 6 seems like a reasonable number. On the other hand, if NOW or someone had a debate just on women's issues, I'd totally watch it. And I'm guessing other people would love to watch debates on specific issues of interest to them. So 6 is OK but it would be cool to have more too.

It's the format. Some rich, White, corporate, news celebrity asking inside the beltway, corporate approved questions is not my idea of a debate. A solitary millionaire asking other millionaires (except Bernie) questions is about as rigged as a debate can get. Doesn't anyone remember Kucinich being asked about UFOs and Dukakis asked a death penalty question in the form of a rape fantasy of his wife? How about "raise your hand" and do the hokey pokey is you're for issue _______?

Seriously, what "journalist" out of the corporate media news clown car will moderate these debates? Wolf "Apologize for the rioters" Blitzer? Don "Black Hole" Lemon? Megyn "She's no saint" Kelly? Chuck "It's not my job" Todd?

By organization.

Let an group of labor unions sponsor a debate. Let NOW sponsor a debate. Hell, let the NRA sponsor a debate. Let the National Organization of Hedge Fund Managers sponsor a debate. Let the AMA sponsor a debate. Let every organization who wants, sponsor a debate. Then, let the CANDIDATES decide which debates they want to attend.

Fuck the DNC... they've already proven themselves NOT to be an impartial arbiter.
