I think most of us literally can't afford Hillary. Maybe if we all pool our retirement funds...

http://golocalprov.com/politics/NEW-Hillary-Clinton-Coming-to-RI-Fundraiser-Hosted-by-Paolino-and-Weiner

"Democratic Presidential front runner Hillary Clinton will be having a major fundraiser on June 10th in Rhode Island. The event will be held 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in East Greenwich.

Hosts are former Providence Mayor Joe Paolino and Democratic strategist Mark Weiner.

The tickets are $1000 (includes reception), $2700 (includes photo line reception with Hillary), raise $10,000 (co-host) and raise $27,000 (host)."

Wonder what you can get for $27,000.

out funded by the Koch-Republican?

Yes there is a better way, one she supports, but until that day, let's not bring a knife to a gunfight.

in the past? It's a way to raise money so they can afford the low or no cost events, TV, etc.

10. Can we trust you to slam Bernie if he ever has a $1,000 a head fundraiser?

because, if he doesn't, he'll be spending far more of his time fundraising (and less time campaigning)or he'll have far less financial resources than his opponents.

11. So now we're criticizing her for fundraising. Pathetic.

Let's ignore the free campaign events open to anyone.

Any candidate serious about running has fundraisers like these.

Presidential campaigns cost an obscene amount of money. All candidates, past and present, host these types of events if they want to remain competitive. There will be plenty of opportunities to see Hillary before the election next year, from free rallies to events that only cost between $20 and $50.

17. I think you literally can't afford Elizabeth Warren...or Russ Feingold...or Sherrod Brown

I've been to events for all of them in the past (Feingold was here last night). The asking price? $1,000 and up. How can you support sell-outs like that. Don't they know it's possible to raise all the money you need in $10 chunks, without having spend time away from campaigning?
