Get used to it
Get behind the Democratic Nominee who will accept that nomination a few blocks from me.

As someone who, as you say, has to "get used to it".

(17,600 posts)or O'Malley, or Sanders?
delrem
(9,688 posts)Chafee, maybe?
I think an argument can indeed be made that Chafee is *an inch or so* ahead of Hillary Clinton, in isolated areas that resemble a measles outbreak rather than a huge philosophical difference, as when Chafee castigates Clinton on her vote authorizing the Iraq war. Chafee, a Republican up 'till yesterday, can scrape to the left of Clinton on several important triangulation points.

(65,616 posts)That is one of the worst attempts at 'motivating people' that I've seen in a long time.

(50,254 posts)You're not entitled to speak to the rest of us as if you are superior to everyone.
How about "suck it down" instead of "get used to it"? Would that be better?

(13,616 posts)post likes this are not at the right time. Even if one seems to lead, this is still the moment where a certain candidate has to prove to ALL the party why we should support her, not just the center. You may think this hurts her, but actually, if Hillary weathers the storm, it will be because WE made sure she stated clear answers for certain issues, making sure she learned the lessons of 2008 instead of trying to bury them under a deluge of feel good denial.

(9,688 posts)And a letter 'D' is NOTHING if all there is to it is blind submission to authority, so long as it is 'D'.
It's part of that damned "loyalty oath" crusade, that hit when HRC's candidacy hit.

(13,616 posts)I hate the idea of a Bush one. The noble "I will vote 4 nader to protest the fact the dems do not want me anymoor!" ideas was tried in 2000,with disastrous results.

(9,688 posts)I hear stories of brothers from another mother, of outings golfing, and when I think about it in general I hear something reminiscent of Norman Rockwell coming from the Clinton/Bush friendship.

(50,254 posts)You're not entitled to that presumption, since she's just another candidate and has nothing to offer beyond anyone else in the race.
You already knew that Bernie supporters would back her if she did get the nom, so this OP was totally unnecessary.

(19,460 posts)The OP didn't mention any candidate by name and yet ya'll go all Hillary nutz.

It is a bit of a giveaway, after all.
Ken Burch
(50,254 posts)Do you not realize that disrespecting your candidates' opponents(a group that grows larger by the day)does nothing to help her chances?
Why would you ever start such an arrogant, destructive thread? What did Bernie's supporters ever do to you?
