Mitch`s McConnell-ization has really hurt this country.

Just say no. Just don`t do it, put up a roadblock, stall, postpone, lob a grenade, even call a press conference and proudly take credit for being an inveterate obstructionist. Mitch McConnell is absolutely empty of any concerns for American citizens and the difficult problems so many of them are facing.

McConnell is not moved by urgency or calamity, nor does he seem to care about the awful consequences of his inaction. He probably has the same look on his face whether he`s entertaining his favorite campaign contributor or seeing an aerial photograph of devastating Kentucky strip mining. Politics is one thing, but for McConnell to stand in the way of each and every attempt made to help people in his own country, he has to be....well....cold as hell.

Mainstream media still claim the country is pretty much 50/50, split on everything. If that`s true, that means many, many people are voting against their own interests and it also means our party needs a better message. That might be why Bernie is creating such excitement. He`s the most un-McConnell of them all. I`m hoping that Hillary`s New York speech this weekend catches fire and creates excitement as well. Americans deserve some straight talk and real change.

I`ve had enough obstructionism to last a lifetime.
